New Hampshire County Fairs & Festivals

One of our favorites is the Lancaster Fair, held every September in the north country. The Lancaster Fair is old fashioned country fair with an impressive selection of livestock, baked goods, crafts and artwork. Maine County Fairs & Festivals

The Fryeburg Fair is one of the most popular fairs in New England. This fair is always held at the very end of the fair season and for many is a signal of change... a reminder that summer is indeed over and your wood supply had better be stacked and ready for the coming winter months. Vermont County Fairs & Festivals

The Champlain Valley Fair and Exposition is huge. This annual favorite brings name brand entertainment in the form of top country, rock, and pop music stars to the Champlain Valley Fairgrounds in Essex Junction, Vermont. Vermont is great state to visit a wide variety of country fairs and expositions. From the Vermont State Fair in Rutland to the famous World's Fair at Tunbridge - a much more typical representation of what you'll find at most offerings in the state.

Connecticut County Fairs & Festivals

To start with, Connecticut is an all-around great place to have fun. Add a fair or carnival and you have more fun than you can fit into one summer day. More than just cotton candy and caramel apples, Connecticut fairs are often centers of activity with stage shows, performances, 4H exhibits, and such animal contests as horse and ox pulls. Connecticut fair season begins in July and extends until mid-October.
