CONNECTICUT CASINOS

Foxwoods is the largest in casino in the world. The Foxwoods Resort Casino features four hotel options: Two Trees, Grand Pequot Tower, Great Cedar, and MGM Grand. Mohegan Sun casino provides 300,000 square feet of gaming excitement within three casinos—Casino of the Earth, Sky & Wind, including smoke-free gaming areas. Mohegan Sun has a 34 story, luxury tower hotel with 1,200 rooms. Both Connecticut casinos are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

MAINE CASINOS

Maine now has two operating casinos. In Bangor, Hollywood Hotel Casino features gaming action and hundreds of slot machines. In June, 2012 Oxford Casino opened with with 500 slot machines, a restaurant, a lounge and a dozen table games including blackjack, poker, craps and roulette.

NEW HAMPSHIRE CASINOS

Not a casino at all Club Casino in Hampton Beach is nice venue to watch live music. New Hampshire at one time was the legal gambling capitol of New England. Vermont does offer “casino” action if you know where to find it. The states laws allow for non-profit organizations to operate “Casino Nights” as fundraisers. The state also allows “strip tickets” to be purchased. The Vermont Lottery maintains a virtual monoply on legal gambling in the state.
